Michael was playing Fantasy Football with a friend at the friend's house on the weekend. During the week Michael worked at Liberty Labor Downtown Cleveland

The first contact and all subsequent conversations took place using Facebook.

A message appeared on Michael's Samsung Galaxy 5 Android Smartphone.  Michael was delighted, believing he had connected to another Landingham.  

Michael B. Landingham considers himself the head of the Landingham Family because of his work for bringing the family together. The family includes both black and white descendants, all of whom are eligible to join the Sons of the American Revolution. 

Families, Michael thought, can learn about themselves, their history and understand each other better.  Families matter.  These create our values as we grown up and remain a repository of wisdom. We should get to know each other, Michael realized. Family brings us closer so we see each other as we are and can find acceptance and the strength to change, when we realize this is needed.

Running for president was a way for Michael to unite Americans through their family connections, a simple but profound platform for change by building human relationships.

Donald Trump was a public figure long before he ran for president. But nothing is known about Michael beyond his immediate acquaintances and the Facebook Group he started to Unite the Landinghams.  Find out more about him 

Because of the encounter with Trump, the Landingham Facebook Group was changed 

to Landingham for President on February 15, 2020.

The messaging between Donald Trump and Michael D. Landingham began on December 8, 2018.  This phase ended on December 10, 2018.  But this does not mean Landingham was not being monitored.

Michael's Narrative:  Michael says again he will not come down unless 'David ' calls him.  Michael remained suspicious and the glib offers of lavish benefits did not lessen this concern.

David publishes the photo of the dog.   Michael tries to call 'David'.  The call was not answered.  Michael tells 'David' he wants to know if "your real for real cuz".

Michael's Narrative: Michael's reaction was skepticism and increased curiosity about who 'David' really is.  Michael's uneasiness was not alleviated by seeing the photo of the dog 'David' chose to share.
